April 5, 2010 - CompassionAndPeace.org Upgrades

We've been working hard to improve CompassionAndPeace.org to make it easier and more enjoyable to use. Here's some highlights of a few things we've changed - we hope you like the improvements!

• New profile look: the profile layout has changed slightly with improved colours, highlighted stats and more
• New messaging system: the new system is easier to use and has a link on each profile to message that user. The old system will still be available for a short time so save any messages you wish to keep on your own computer.
• New menus: A new user menu on the left makes it easier to change your status and navigate the site. In addition the top menu has changed slightly and moved to the bottom of the page
  

We've also made minor improvements to other portions of the site. If you are experiencing any problems or have any questions about the changes, please send a personal message to Aeson, use the "Report This" link or see our contact page here.

November 18, 2009 - BOOK FORM AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD AND PRINT

Download the permission form for the "Alone Together" book.  You'll need the free Adobe Reader, if you don't have it already.

All site members between the ages of 13-17 are required to have a parent or legal guardian sign this form.  Members ages 18+ can sign the form themselves.  The form must be then faxed back to us.  Full instructions are on the form itself.

October 27, 2009 - MAJOR SITE UPGRADES AND NEW FEATURES!

We've upgraded our look and added new features to make your experience at CompassionAndPeace.org easier, more functional, and more enjoyable. Check out the new profile look, activity feed, photo and video applications, as well as a new wall to replace the old "page post" system. The forum and private messaging system have not changed.

October 3, 2009 - Peace Gathering in Toronto, Canada

Our second peace gathering will be held tomorrow, October 4th at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, Canada. All in the area please attend and bring your friends too! The gathering will consist of a meet and greet discussing the implementation of peace within our society.  It will also include some acoustic guitar performances, artwork and poetry. All are invited to share their talents and feelings. Please invite as many people out as possible, hopefully we can get a huge turnout. Hope to see you all there!

The gathering yesterday (August 2nd, 2009) was a huge success! Thanks to all who attended. Another one will be held in Toronto in early September, once again at Nathan Phillips Square.

The gatherings consist of a meet and greet discussing the implementation of peace within our society. They also feature live music performances, poetry reading, art viewing, and much more!

Please invite as many people out as possible, hopefully we can get a huge turnout!
